Shot a graduation for one of my university clients earlier. A few with the 90 cron APO and M 10. I think all are at 6400 ISO and all wide open (f/2) IIRC.

It's a real gem. I sent my M 10 and 90 cron to a guy in Wisc that works on Leica's to get them focus adjusted and he really dialed them in. He doesn't work on digital cameras when electronics are concerned but he does work on any mechanical issues like a lens/rangefinder adjustment. I would HIGHLY recommend that and I also use a 1.4 magnifier.
Don at DAG is AMAZING.

Here's a couple of reviews I thought you might like to see.
https://www.pcmag.com …le2/0,2817,2472434,00.asp (external link)

Scroll down some to the 90 Cron APO asph section
http://www.overgaard.dk …90mm-Summarit-M-f-25.html (external link)

You will see that it is sharper than the Canon 135L. Sharper in the center and is sharp all the way to the corners wide open and in my opinion has a better rendering.

Great shots and nice lens. I had one for an evaluation and found it was accurate with the rangefinder at close distances but was out for longer distances. I asked for the 75 Cron to compare and settled on that because it didn't have any rangefinder issues. Did the calibration for the 90 you had done throw off focus for your other lenses?

I usually do not change lenses often. I use my 35 Lux on my newer M 10 and MM the 90 cron on my older M 10 body 24 2.8 on my M 262. The 90 is just really dialed in at all distances on my older M 10 and is so freak'n sharp as well as so pleasing when talking rendering. The price to get the adjustment was worth every dime. I do think he adjusted the lens more than the camera because my other lenses seem to focus fine on that camera.

All wide open at f/2

And you'll have to take my word for it when talking infinity

Thanks Allen and I believe you about infinity focus - especially if he adjusted the lens. I had something similar with the Noctilux I had. Leica NJ had to adjust the lens as it was back focusing. After the adjustment it was perfect. I did find it surprising that it was out considering the cost of the lens. Enjoy your 90 - it really is something special.

I do think that the only way to get it perfect is to adjust with camera because there are just to many variables especially when talking such a narrow DoF as is with the 90 2 or especially with the 75 1.25 or the 50 .95, . My 90 now focuses perfectly on my MM to.
