Essentially under warranty even though I have no proof. And the repair should be completed by next week.

So, what was the issue? Same problem as has been reported about some early M9s. I'm not sure exactly what the cause of the problem is, I didn't ask. From what I've read online, the problem is due to Kodak using the wrong adhesive to attach the IR filter to the sensor.
