Nothing earth shattering about this image, but it was fun to make. 75 sec exposure with ambient nighttime light generally filtering in through windows. Not much light. During the exposure I walked through the house turning on lights, mostly for a second or less, except for the chandeliers, which were dimmed so that I could get the bulb illumination without just blowing out the light fixtures. The light streaming across the far wall was on the whole time - it is outside and throwing light through windows onto the wall. I flashed the lights in the room from which the picture was taken to fill the scene and to cast the angular shadow across the floor.

Light painting-ish.

In this kind of exposure you can walk through the scene and not show up on the image. I was wearing dark clothes, which helps.

Fun! Q2 monochrom

I like the light and shadow in this image.

I do also and sent it off to print in matte 11x14 to hang to display.

Thanks

Thanks and if I were a 50 guy I would probably have the 50 Lux. I'm not so. The 50 1.2 Nokton is a real bargain at just north of a grand. The thing that really surprised me about the Voigt was the quality. The build and usability are outstanding.

thanks for your opinion. to me the 50lux is like a 1.3 lens. It seems to produce the best bokeh out of any 1.4 i've seen and is close to a 1.2, so I'm calling it a 1.3 ehhe. I've seen folks say the 50lux L mount surpasses the lens but I prefer the overall look the M produces.

the voigt looks pretty good and the price is very attractive though :)

M10P w 35 summilux. Rangefinder focusing is definitely growing on me. Pick your distance and aperture and wait for the action!
