I have tried X100V. They used to have them in the store :).
It feels too small for me.
Earlier on I have tried Q and its EVF gave some odd feeling to my eye.

Both X100V and Q are with leaf shutter. And both are using not overpriced batteries :)

Have you tried Q in 35 mode?

I have not tried the crop modes - something about it doesn't seem right about it to be honest, though I suppose I should see what it's like.
I also have small hands and the X100 fits like a glove. I'm finding the Q a bit more clunky and tedious to use in comparison, although that could simply be the fact that it's still a new camera to me. I sometimes have a difficult time turning the darn thing on, and the EVF leaves much to be desired. I am really liking the files, however. The DNG files are easy for my aging computer to process, which is a huge bonus.

Upscale barn lighting. It's the tasting room for Soda Rock Winery after a wildfire burned the main building.

Just updated my Q2M firmware to 5.0. Looks like the camera did a complete factory reset on all settings.

Is Leica really this dumb at software or did I do something wrong?

In 2021 Q2 fw upgrade was resetting file numbering.
Looks like Leica German engineering tradition.

You can save your user settings as a profile (or multiple profiles). You can save these profiles to your card prior to a firmware update and reload them once the firmware update is complete to reestablish your settings.

Would it be nice if they asked if you wanted your current settings to be saved to the SD card (or your device if you are updating over the FOTOS app) as a temporary profile? Sure. But they don't. Now you know to do it yourself!

When I updated my Q2 to firmware 4.0 I didn’t notice any settings change. I wasn’t specifically looking out for it though so maybe they did. I’ve not done 5.0 yet
