One more month to go, then I fly all the way home to Florida and then back to the Philippines 3 days later lol. Going to visit Hong Kong for a week in April, so can't wait to shoot there.....and avoid going broke from buying any cameras!

The M and the M-E were introduced at the same time; Photokina last year in September. Since the M-E is really just an M9 (minus the frame preview lever and USB port and a new paint job) it was quickly available. The M on the other hand, is a whole different beastie and we've been collectively waiting since. The official word was "available early 2013." There have been some "coming soon" and "not until May" reports - so basically no one knows for sure except Leica and it's coming... Soon.

So no "new" M-E - the one you're seeing IS the new one.

I've heard rumors of one with the new sensor thats in the new M sometime up the road without live view, all manual, and without a lot of other extras I really don't want that are on the new M but with the better high ISO performance of the CMOS.

^ Nice shots, Justin!

Thanks guys!

A part of me wishes I had the Mono since I pretty much convert everything to B&W with the M9. I will be picking up a M6 to bring back with me to have fun with. I have enough chemicals to develop my own film for awhile, so I may as well put it to use :D

I'm going to completely switch over to Leica in the next few years and I will need a couple of color digital bodies for my commercial work and maybe the new M or if theres a new M-E with better high ISO performance (CMOS) or maybe just a couple of M-Es or used M9s?

I so am in love with my MM I hate to pick up my Canons. The 35 lux just keeps on amazing me. I did really like the M9 while I had it The files just look so much different from my Canon files and in a good way. So I could probably live with a present day M-E or M9 but would prefer good 3200 and 6400 ISO files. The MM is perfect but I can't sell all my clients on B&W. I have been able to sell some on it though.

Nice ones^

There have been some good deals on clean used M9's lately, the one I picked up for $4100 looked brand new and had 2k shots on it.

A rare color shot from me lol

Nice I would imagine those deals will get a lot better once the M is released.

Indeed, will be interesting to see what happens to used prices within the next year.

I wish Fuji would release a 35mm equivalent with the manual focus setup like the 14mm they just released. It does great for high iso, but I don't even touch the thing after I picked up the M9. For me the M9 is such a barebones camera and a joy to use, I never thought manual focusing could be so easy!

Yes I do like the M9 very much and I'm in love with my MM.

This is great.

I was worried it would traumatize women and small children.

Thanks Jobin. Love'n the rangefinder experience and the MM especially.
