I can't wait to see some images from talented photographers with the new M!

Just saw a post for a clean M6 and 50 summicron on another site that I want, but it sucks being stuck overseas with nobody home to sign for stuff! I sent the person a PM with hopes of shipping to my neighbor as an option. :D

Yes I do like the M9 very much and I'm in love with my MM.

I think I'm secure enough to admit that I'm in love with your MM and the photos you are producing with it. Keep posting your stuff.

Yeah, I hear that. Oddly enough, the M is actually "cheap" - at least, cheaper than the MM and comparable to the M9. But yeah... Now that the M, MM and M-E and M9-P have all come after the "poor, lowly M9"... LOL. I don't plan to sell mine. ;)

The M should really sing with the APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH.

If anyone's interested, I've been posting Updates on M and Accessories (external link) as the come in, post-launch.

The new 50 Cron APO is supposed to be the sharpest 50mm on the market if your into the ultimate in sharpness. Its sharper at the corners than Canon and Nikon 50mm are in the center.

I'll second that, the tones and sharpness are beautiful from that camera.

The only thing missing is the ability to make silver gelatin prints. Ink prints wouldn't do justice IMO. It may be technically feasible but afaik no paper recorder has been made yet. OK, so I'm dreaming. :(
