Oh, Negative. You always rub it in
It probably blocks a fair amount of viewfinder with that hood on.

(But it might take me a few more years to save for it) If you need a fix, the Voigtländer 50mm f/1.1 Nokton isn't too bad; though I'd opt for the Noctilux f/1 if possible. The Voigtländer 35mm f/1.2 Nokton is another sweet lens; albeit 35mm. palaima wrote in post #15896616 Oh, Negative. (planning on a M and Zeiss 50mm f2 Planar, or 50 f2.5 elmarit towards the end of this year, then 28 f2.8 and 90 f2 next year, the year after that will be a 50 summilux, or maybe a noctilux - if i can justify the extra cost, and am still doing a lot of pics at night where i may need the speed) My Best Imageswww.echo63.deviantart.com

Or at least something that'll take an M mount lens via adapter... The Planar is a sweeeeet lens. Super sharp, great Zeiss qualities. Add in the 28 and 90 like you're planning and you've got it made. I like the 28/50/90 spread myself. I went with a Summicron-M 28mm f/2 ASPH, Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 ASPH and Elmarit-M 90mm f/2.8. Bonus - they're all a 46mm filter. La Vida Leica!

Walked around French Quarter and took pictures of the performers. Great City, I need to go there just to do street photography. So many fascinating people. L1002141 2. Congrats neekon! Two very nice lenses too - small, light, sharp. Pick up some Heliopan 486 (UV/IR) filters - cheaper than the Leica ones. The M does make a great companion, especially with small lenses. The Color Skopars are my favorite for that sort of shooting.
