The colors may be a little more saturated, but I think the problem here is the difference between our monitors' calibration. The point is taken though, and I will check my monitor's calibration. Eric T wrote in post #12490143 Makes me thirsty LOL, thanks, Eric. Yes, all that water would have probably helped your thirst. jdizzle wrote in post #12493212 I like the second one of the whole series. Nice work. Thanks, Julian! Thank you, Al! SamuelBurns wrote in post #12494091 Really like the light on the water in the last shot and the composition of the third Thanks, Samuel! Eric2007 wrote in post #12494570 Nice job! I like the second or first one the best. What was your exposure time? Was it a calm day when you took these shots? The reason for the questions is that I have a heck of a time getting the tree branches sharp (due to even a slight breeze) when my exposures are longer than a few seconds. I have been thinking that I should try blending two images to resolve this problem (1 image for the surrounding area at a quicker exposure and 1 image for the water at the longer exposure). Anyway, well done! Thanks, Eric! To answer your question, most of the exposures were about 1-5 seconds, and there was no wind. The few-second exposures are good for branches and trees even if there is a slight wind. Of course, if you get a 20 mph wind in the area around the waterfall you're shooting, nothing will be in focus. But, some light wind shouldn't be a problem unless you're exposing for too long. Many people use two or more exposures, where they blend images, but I generally try to stick with only one exposure. fungry wrote in post #12497463 Really like the first one in the set.
