Gotta love dinner on Saint Laurent, just up from the corner is Buonanotte!

Yup that is EXACTLY it.....

Stopped staying there though as you can't sleep at all with the bar attached. We tend to stay in Vieux Montreal at The Gault now, great spot for photo shoots as well!

I love le vieux Montreal , my favorite place for long walks, but it's usually too crowded to be able to take photos ! i really don't like to shoot in any busy location , it's a shame , i know but i need to work on that , especially that i wanna do lots of street photography on my summer trip to Egypt :D .

Best time to shoot in Old Montreal is early morning just after Sunrise. Nobody around except other Photographers. No crowds and not much gets in the way so you get to shoot things that are not available during the day.

I AM too lazy to shoot in the early morning, so I don't.

I need to put together a shooting schedule and do it, one morning. Maybe next week ;-)a

It's not a question of being lazy, it's more motivation. There are some shots you can only get at certain times and if you really want them you will get out and make the shot.
Early morning is not everyone's cup of tea, but as an early riser anyway I enjoy being out there with no crowds or cars and get some of the shots you may never get any other time.
To each his/her own.
