G6 Portable Studio?

Sorry for the double post, but have been told twice to post here for G6 questions.

Fairly new here but I am trying to build a portable studio to carry on my Indian when I go on the road.
This would be for shooting Motorcycles with and without models. G6 w/420EX.

I am looking at using Vivitar 285(china made Low voltage) HV's or Sunpack 330 Supers, 3 with a 420EX on camera.
I am planning on using shoot-thru umbrella's or maybe some 24" to 36" softboxes.
I fiqure I can get stands umbrellas cords backdrop or whatever in a half size duffle bag and flashes electronics in a camera bag.

What I'm not sure of is the best way to hook this all up with as few cords (preferably none) as possible?

Any ideas or suggestions here would be appreciated.

Hi there, i use my Jessops flash gun to trigger off 2 studio lights, no leads are used at all because my camera would be fried. But my setup is a studio environment, yours will be outside?? Here is a pic i've done recently as a job.....

Yes I will be outside, most of the time I can find an area to shoot IE inside a building or under an rv awning, a vendors tent.

What I'm trying to do is not conventional, but I get a lot of shots at Rallies that other photographers don?t get because people know that I ride in on a bike.

Basically I am trying to find out what I need to trigger slave units with a G6?

I?m trying to keep the costs as low as possible incase the bike goes down, bad enough to have your hide and bike strewn across the highway, don?t really want to lose $2500 worth of photo equipment also.

My task my seem insane to some, but I'm sure the guy that invented the submarine was met with some criticism also

I am using the 420EX, mounted on a G3, to trigger two slave flashes, a Sunpak DS20 and a Canon 188. The DS20 has a built-in optical trigger. I bought one of those $10 triggers from ebay to mount on the Canon 188. This arrangement has worked well for me indoors.

You will want to disable the pre-flash on the 420EX to properly trigger the slaves. To do so, set your G6 to shoot in 'M' mode.
