windpig Chopped liver More info | May 25, 2011 06:51 | #3 The 24L is a killer lens on a crop. I bought the 24L mkI when the mkII first came out, I wish I would have ponied up the extra $'s for the mkII at the time. I love the lens, especially on a crop. Would you like to buy a vowel?

I tried 24L II on 1D Mark III and that field of view is even better. Of course if you put it on a 1.6x crop then FOV will be like a classic 35mm on FF. So, I'd say go for it and this lens is a gem on any format. I know more about gear than I know about photography

After the third trip mine did ok usually...but it was still unacceptably high rate of missing...and when it missed...it was consistent no matter how many times you tried. Please visit my Flickr
