The material of the grip was acceptable. I inserted the non-canon battery in the camera and everything worked fine. I can see the battery info. However, when I use the grip, it will not communicate with either batteries. Has anyone had experience something like that? I thought the "cannot communicate with battery" problem is only on the battery that wasn't "chipped"
