More info | May 25, 2011 14:54 | #5 Ok so it's for still photography only and it splits the image into 6 - 50mp images and stiches it together? and if you already have the 50mp camera they will upgrade the software for you for a mere $9000? Nice I'd love to play with one.

First they create it and then work on convincing us that we NEED it. No thanks. Sue Cassidy

Trouble is that the model has to remain still for 30 seconds to take the picture. This is a digital hark back to 150 year old 8"x10" glass plate view cameras that were so slow that the photographer had to provide head braces for the subject so they wouldn't move their head for many seconds. May 26, 2011 18:32 | #13 I recently read that Canon is currently testing an APS H sensor of 120mp and capable of 9+ frames per second, so if they introduce the Hasseblad sensor wobble technique and a 30 second exposure they would have a 32400mp (got to better than 200mp????) hasn't it? Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).
