500mm city sidewalks

I was out in the city the other day with my 500 mm and found that shooting down a sidewalk with the 500 is one heck of an excellent choice. So much so that I think I'll make a day of it in the near future. Just sidewalks all day long. :)

I think it's the DoF combined with the extreme compression that really does it.

These old neighborhoods have plenty of growth down these sidewalks, sort of creates it's own vignette, wish the van at the end wasn't there, but each sidewalk has something different to offer, which makes it all the more interesting. Both shots were at f4. Thanks for the comments.

They look nice, but I'd be careful pointing that big lens down a footpath at a young girl... Somebody may well get the wrong idea!

I was visiting a friend and thats one of the neighbors kids, and they probably already have some of the pics. I certainly get your point though.
