Kenn, love the close-ups. We just don't see these birds out here. The "AYES" have it.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

Very nice series Kenn.
That first nuthatch shot sure has some intensity in it; and the bluebird closeup is very unique....I like it alot.

Kenn,
Very nice series, I like the entire set... Always enjoy your shots.

We have 2 pairs here in the yard, One has already Fledged there young, the second pair has had some difficulties, Ants got into the nest after the 5th egg was laid, she incubated them for about 6 days before leaving the nest, fortunately they took up residence in another box and have laid there 3rd egg as of yesterday, the other Bluebird pair's young fledged 5 days ago.
I Miss them being around, seems once their young fledge neither the parents or young are seen for weeks before I see them coming back around again, kinda weird I thought.

when around I would whistle and they would come for there mealworms both morning and afternoon. After the young were fledged and I cleaned out the nest box there were about 2 dozen mealworms living within the nesting material which was mainly pine needles.

Lovely work as usual Kenn, always enjoy your Bluebirds, but the chickadees are closest to my heart... beautiful series...
I just came in from a few hours on my ridge and feeding my Black cappers and Norris... the warblers are starting to nest.... should be an interesting summer.

Thanks everybody,

We love to share our birds here, and always appreciate your encouragements.

We have lots of baby birds here now... Nuthatches, Chickadees, Cardinals, Baby Blues and many others. I'll hope to do another all-fledgling post or two soon.

Kenn
