Very odd this one and I'm sure I'm not going mad but twice today two separate frames were combined into one in-camera, basically double-exposures.

Both instances seem to be a mixture of portrait and landscape and I'm sure I didn't rotate the camera before the frame had finished, even if I did it wouldn't look like this.

I know it's impossible but why and how?!

Also, the sequential numbering is fine so it does appear as if two frames are on the same frame if that makes sense. I remember shooting the portrait and landscape images in the photo and they are both missing and just combined here.

I've seen something like that before... I forget the explanation, but it was on a different model camera, seemed to happen with certain memory cards, and there was a firmware update issued to prevent it. You might check that you have the latest f'ware. If so, I'd contact Canon support and see if they can shed any light on it.

You think I was too quick with the next shot? In both instances the camera was rotated on a tripod from portrait to landscape and that doesn't normally happen very quickly. :confused:

I am in need of jumping from 1.0.6 to 1.0.8 but all that seems to be is a movie mode phenomenon and a spelling mistake in a menu.

EXIF seems perfectly intact for both images too. I'm confooooooosed :confused: or being very dumb :confused:
