HS Baseball championship game

I have not been here in eons. You won't believe it, but I got a hold of a paper cutting machine in 2009 and since then paper crafting has taken over, and my photography has gone to dust. However, the southpaw's team was up for a championship yesterday, and how could I not shoot?

I finally got his mechanics down a little more. Action in the field still eludes me..... this is a real quickie edit from an extracted jpeg.....

Welcome back! Image looks real soft, especially around his eyes which should be sharpest. Also looks a tad overexposed. Hope you can shoot and post some more soon!

Thanks for your input - always trust your spot on advice. This was the first time I picked up the camera in over a year or so (maybe two). The boys are in a spot where they they don't want me around. I will insist that they let me shoot however as I am getting really rusty as you can see. Remember the younger "droopy drawers" ?? Well that little kid is now 5'10" going to be 15 and towers over me. Sighhhhhhh time is all I can say..
