I miss not having a place for and external flash. I don't know much about the G3 other than hearing it's one of the best mid range digital cameras out there.

glee Hatchling 5 posts Joined Nov 2002 More info | May 08, 2003 03:06 | #3 I just bought an S50 (upgrading from s40) rather than the G3 because of the small size (slips into your top pocket between shots) and extra megapixel. Otherwise.... the G3 has more features. Its that simple really. If the bigger size and flippy floppy lens cap doesn't bother you, and you like to get technical, get the G3.

Though I must admit, I always hate it when after buying a camera, the manufacturer comes out with a newer model cameras that have higher specs and is cheaper
