A few weeks ago as I was preparing to go on vacation with the new 5D2, I purchased a copy of Serif PanoramaPlus X4. I tried a couple of 5 shot panos, and other than a long processing time, they turned out great.

Now I'm back from vacation and I'm loaded with numerous 5-shot pano possibilities, and the software is failing me

I load the five images, and click on "stitch", and it seems to do just fine, but when I try to export to a TIF file at a full size, it fails saying I must select a smaller image size.

This is perplexing, since the size I am trying to accomplish is exactly the same size as my test panos from before my trip. And now, to get the size small enough for the software to complete the export, I must export at a size of 500 X 1500 pixels . . . WAY too small to be useful.

Their help line was very disappointing. He claimed I had a resources issue (which I reduced to only this program running) . . . no help. I then tried the same five original images from the test panos, and it ran fine. Now the help guy says that sometimes the software just doesn't like some images, or parts of images, claiming that different images have different complexity. Software is useless if I can only use what "it likes". I would have no predictability.

Anyone have any ideas??

Have you saved or save as the result before trying to export? Might be worth a try.
I've never experienced this problem, but while dealing with Serif in the past, I found their support staff to be lacking in knowledge of their own software.

That is the distinct impression I had too. He had no track record for this problem, and was groping for some problem with my computer or my images.
