New Kitchen

After just four weeks start to finish, our kitchen remodeling job was completed today. I shot these HDR images to show what a nice job they did. C&C always welcomed.

Here's my comments regarding the pictures.
Firstly, needs to be sharpened.....I would use unsharpen mask (I used 90% and threshold of 1.1) and then a little noise reduction to get rid of the noise visible in the wood grain.
Secondly, the window is blown out. vmlopes recommended the following steps in a thread recently:
"re. the windows, pull in the -3 Raw as and adjustment layer, create a layer mask and paint in the windows..........as you will not be able to do anything with them from the HDR conversion". Try this and let's see if it works better (I can't show you the result as I don't have the RAW files....but should be easy enough to follow).

Wow; that kitchen is beautiful. I love the reflection of the outside in the microwave. If you could paint in the window, etc. as suggested above, it would be outstanding!

Thanks for the feedback. As fate would have it, I took another image with the camera in the same position which had a pretty good exposure through the window. Since the camera hadn't been moved, I was able to paste in the view through the window. Is this any better?

That looks much better. Now the green reflection in the microwave makes sense. This is just a matter of personal taste but I might add just a bit more contrast.

Yes; looks great now. Hope you took some before shots to remember your old kitchen.
