I think maybe if you brought out some more of the darker areas/shadows on the car, and not have everything so well exposed, that may help. Brett West - Gallery

May 28, 2011 22:41 | #5 The wires in the background ruin the composition, and the blue fringing in the shadows resulting from the tone mapping makes it look over processed. Try an HSB layer and pull down the blues and mask the application of that just for the shadows. I think that would help a lot. Gear List

Photography is light, and you chose the wrong light. 2. Composition is king, and you have none to speak of. 3. Processing is the salt of a meal, not the meal, and you have handily overdone yours. Start from the basics and work from there, then you can get into high-end processing like HDR (not that you'll want to once you're a decent photographer). I have plenty of PM space, and would be happy to help. ^ This. HDR wasn't the way to go with this image.
