Very helpful! Thanks everyone. I have another question. When I get a sync cord, I see that they come in all sizes obviously. I don't need one that stretches to 5 feet or 15. I just want one that goes with the flash/flip bracket, but don't want abunch of extra cord hanging there. What length should I get? Coil or no coil for my purposes?

Yes, weight...the best Custom Brackets in their line weigh about 1 pound more than a Newton!

Oh yeah, that sucker is heavy lol. If I could go back in time I would buy the newton which is very similar to the cheap ebay bracket I've been using out of the studio (newton being way better build of course).
