I noticed that the when I use my 70-200 2.8 IS II with a 2x extender III it does not report focal length correctly in the EXIF data. When zoomed all the way to the most telephoto point it reports 278mm.

Is this normal and is there a way to fix it?

Does it definitely report correctly without the TC attached?

So.....I took a bunch more pictures and this set reported accurately. I guess I will have to keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the help.

I like that shot a lot Ian.

That's good to hear. Hey guys, how do well does this extender perform? From that shot above, I would say there is little loss of image quality and performance.
