How many man-made structures can be in a landscape photo, and the photo still be considered a landscape?

By "how many," I mean in quantity, density, scale, height, proportion and percentage of the photographic image taken up by them, etc. Approximations that portray a general idea are fine.

The answer to your question is the same as the answer to "What is pornography?" "I can't tell you the answer, but I know it when I see it."

As many as you think are suitable!

There is no answer.

A landscape could be a cityscape just as easily as a mountain range or lake.

I have to say I do like Irishman's reply though!

Ahh, OK. That's what I was wondering.

Funny, two years later there is a reply. Maybe it's a Rip van Winkle thing....

As many as the contest rules or client allows. If there are no rules, your subjective opinion as an artist is what matters.

No a cityscape is a cityscape, not a landscape.

So: a dissenting opinion!

What is two years compared to the millenia man has been making art? And still, the question remains unresolved.

Really??

A city (scape) sits on/occupies land (scape), so a cityscape is part of a landscape. Without land for the city to occupy, the city would not exist.
