A funny thing happend that I can't explain. After shooting a bunch of shots in RAW over the past month that went through Bridge into Photoshop without problems, I shot a new series of twenty shots recently after reformatting the SD card.

I moved them to Bridge, adjusted a few things in Camera RAW, and then clicked Done and saved them back to Bridge.

However, unlike other RAW shots, thousands of them, these twenty images in Bridge did not have the icons in the upper right corner indicating adjustments in RAW. Nor did they show the adjustments of exposure, contrast, etc., when I reopened them in CR! I reformated the card again, shot, and the same thing happened.

I tested other photos in Bridge to which I had made no adjustments from several cameras, and the icons and adjustments were saved perfectly back to Bridge. I reshot some with my 5D2 and uploaded them...no problems.

Is this a problem with an S95 camera setting? Did I push some button by mistake? With the SD card? I can't figure it out.

Did you get the answer?

I have a question. How did you enable raw support for S95 files in bridge and in photoshop elements. downloading and installing updates does not work for me.

You'll need one of the latest versions of Adobe Camera Raw for that. And unless you have the latest Elements, it won't seamlessly integrate with the needed version of ACR.

Yes. The answer is that the camera was defective according to Canon tech support and I returned it to the vendor for credit.
