Bill is my name - I'm the most wanted man on my island, except I'm not on my island, of course. More's the pity.

If I pixel peep, I feel the 24LII can handle CA a bit better, but the difference is hard to notice. I love both but sold the 35L because the 24LII suited my video needs more. Plus the 24LII is a newer lens with better weather sealing abilities. Like the others have said, choose the best FL that suits you or the budget that suits you, the 24LII is a few hundred more than the 35L. DRIVER > GLASS > BODY

If not, you don't need the 24. Regardless, you obviously have some interest in the 24, so why not rent it for a few days? Dr.TC wrote in post #12504670 are there anyone out there who owns both 35L and 24L II? i dont want to buy a lens and leave another sitting on the shelf.... Yes, I own and use both, but I use them for different purposes. I would pretty much never choose the 24 to shoot people, as I find it too wide for that purpose (on full frame).
