Well, just ordered the SX230 from Amazon to accompany my Nikon D80. Can't wait for it to get here so I can play with it.
Any comments / suggestions / tips from Canon loyalists? Thanks!

May 29, 2011 21:45 | #2 Btw, as you can see, I joined this forum back in 2005 but went with Nikon at that time. Still lovin' my Nikon but preferred to go with a Canon for a pocket camera.

More info | Jun 02, 2011 15:17 | #3 it's a fun camera. the dial is a litle sensitive though, so watch that. when i turn the camera on, my left index finger prevents the flash from popping up, so watch your left index finger, you will understand what i mean. mpix345 Goldmember 2,870 posts Likes: 69 Joined Dec 2006 More info | Anything beyond moderate use and you'll want an extra battery, but I suppose it makes sense to try it out first and be sure it is a keeper. Really happy with mine. Nice combo of size, zoom, IQ and features.
