I've been wanting to branch out into engagement photography for a while, so I asked a gorgeous couple I know to volunteer themselves as guinea pigs, despite not actually being engaged. We had so much fun! Here are some of my favourites -- I'd love any feedback you can give me.

love the last one! the strongest out of the bunch.
well, overall they're very nice but somehow it feels kind of flat? (maybe it's the color or the cloudy day?)

Here's my take:

1. I really like this.

2. Not too crazy about the composition, angle, loose framing...

3. Nice collage.

4. I think this is a decent photo but there's something about their pose that doesn't look right.

5. Nice photo. Looks like they are enjoying it.

6. I just think this photo looks too staged and obvious.

7. I like this one.

8. While I see where you were coming from, I just think it's just too loose and the dead space really doesn't offer anything interesting other than a gloomy sky.

I like #1 alot, his mouth area looks a bit dark...

#2 I would crop the top down quite a bit..., but like it...

#3 collage, all 4 are nice, but I love lower right shot...playful.

#4 not crazy about this one. She looks like she needs to poop, he looks uncomfortable, perhaps cause he thinks she needs to poop also. :)

#5 Love it

#6 Points for bravery, but seems trite.

#7 Love it- Looks candid, spontaneous.

#8 Like it, but seems too far out...Might for me work in silhouette..

All in all, diverse poses, cute couple, looks like they had fun. Nice job..:)
