I was just checking out the late MLB scores when I saw this video clip featuring Texas Rangers pitcher C.J. Wilson where he talks about photography: MLB on Fox: Smile for C.J.![]()
His laptop shows he's a Lightroom user too.
So I googled a bit and found his blog; http://leftylefty.com/users/cj/blogs/1148961![]()
I've gotten a really positive response on my photos lately, so let me lay out the stuff I've been using since lots of people have questions...
The cameras I use to take photos, unless noted:
Canon 1D mk 4 - mostly for action stuff since it's got a great processor speed. I'm still learning how to use it completely, generally I'm taking too grainy of a photo. really it's strongest suit is the HD video, because it can film in 60fps- which looks cool in twixster as slo-mo.
Canon 5d mk2 - a lot of the landscapes are with this because of the higher megapixel count, and frankly I'm the most comfortable with this camera overall.
Canon G12 - Dominique bought this for me for Valentine's Day and I'm taking it all over, it's really like a mini-5D with the "on top" knob functions of older film cameras, for the money an amazing camera and the flip out screen is LEKKER...
Canon S95- the single best "slim in your pocket" camera on the planet. shoots raw files and has a lot of manual functions for authoring your own shots instead of "perma-auto" like most point and shoots.
