Similar to the flickr thread, want to see who has a 500px account and we can get people to follow each other :D

I'll get the ball rolling here:

whoa, are you a paid member? that's pretty clean. I did not like 500px because I thought it was very messy/busy/didn't like navigation. But that looks pretty neat.

Im not a paid member. I was attracted to 500pc because of the amazing ways you can setup your portfolio, and really like the way I can display my 365 project :)

doesn't seem to be many forum members with a 500px? unless they just haven't noticed the thread yet.

Nothing to see here....

Why thank you. It truly is an amazing album. I can tell by your name that you have good taste as well. BMW ftw!

500px is more of a site to host your PORTFOLIO(your best pics!) work. It is great way to find some inspiration from other photogs looking at their portfolio... Flickr on the other hand is more of a photo dump site now.. and its hard to find what you are really looking/interested in.

Wow. This is one of very few media sharing sites that are not blocked at work!

i realized there are separate sites, yourname.500px.com and 500px.com/yourname

certainly looks nice, but I am very much against that structure. i'm finding the site more and more "too busy" and cluttered (unless you strictly only show the portfolio section).

There is some completly insane photogs there. Lots of HDR and some good inspiration. However really only seems to be a place where you would want to hang your top 15 images. I don't seen any real advantage in upgrading so you can upload an unlimited amount of pictures, SmugMug or Flickr are better for Gallery collections.
