Agree with the other that the colors are nice.

The contrast is so strong in one though, between the colors, I actually thought the gloves and scarf were cut and pasted. Think the darker orange in the second photo is optimal.

Love the winter look ... composition is very nice.

Everyone talks about the slow focus of the lens, and it's not a lie however some people exaggerate a little and cause a negative image about this lens.
In the summer i was invited by a cousin that organized a small tournament to take some pictures of the event. Well... i used the 85mm F/1.2... and i was impressed with the results.
Just a few:

To me needs later in the day or some strobes to bring out those eyes.

I would not want to judge the technical quality based on what we can see in the posted photo. I might criticize the concept. My experience has been that people like group shots better the more they can see their own face. So, my preference would be to get tighter to the group. Otherwise I do like having some environment in the image. Since image editing is allowed, here's a warmed and cropped version to debate.

This lens look very good for portrait. But if I have enough money to buy it, I will purchase 70-200mm f/2.8 IS II instead

Okie doke. Seems a bit odd to post that in a thread specifically about the 85.
