Finally broke down and got myself one :). Love the images that came out of this lens. However, as a travel lens, it's hard to carry it around since lens swapping is more hassle than my Sigma 85.

Looking to pick one of these up. I can get a brand new one for £1275 (grey import with seller warranty) or a 7 year old one for £1100 which has just had a full service by Canon including dismantling, cleaning, re-assembly and calibration and is in superb cosmetic condition.

Not sure if I should just pay a little extra and get the new one or go with the 2nd hand one as its been serviced this month. Thoughts?
