Wow - how much did a 3-month rental set you back? Camera gear (primarily lenses) holds it's value so well these days, I've found that you can pretty reliably buy and resell something for less than 10% of its value for a pretty much open-ended "rental period."

It would normally cost around $600, but I used BorrowLenses 25% off code when they had the promo offer going. $440

Since its graduation season for elementary kids, high schoolers and college kids. 20 cap & gown clients in the next 3 months can pay for a brand new lens and some.

Might as well take advantage of that 25% off

the 85mm from borrow lens came with a UV Filter on it, Im guessing as protection! Im in search of a good ND4 Filter, because thats what Ive always used on my 50mm 1.8, But I dont know who to choose when it comes to the 85mm
