Im thinking of replacing my canon 15-85mm IS with the sigma 17-50mm f2.8 OS has anyone had both lenses and if so which do you prefer?

You are going to have to pick which one you value more. Personally, I would say you have speed covered with the 30 and 50mm primes, so stick with the 15-85. But I am not you, of course. Taylor

I chose the 15-85 over a constant 2.8 zoom for its range (great for photowalks). You can always use your 430EX II if you absolutely have to use the 15-85 in low light situations. But I usually just use the 30mm, and sometimes the 50mm. stevenhien.com
