So first things first. The couple is a friend of my girlfriend who were on a tight budget with a photographer. They decided on hiring my girlfriend to be the primary photographer to shoot the wedding and me just in charge of the candid shots (less stress on me haha). They offered to buy our tickets to Hawaii which was nice because I was born and raised there and I told my girlfriend that I couldn't refuse that offer because for one I wanted to see my family there. The weather was so.. so.. that day lots of clouds in and out, rain, sunshine everything so shooting manual/aperture priority was a good learning experience that day. Here is a couple of many.

1. Bride

#4 is your best shot, although with an easily correctable tilt. In the others, you shot in harsh mid-day equatorial sunlight. That's never a good choice. Forgetting for the moment the large dynamic range that your camera can't handle without a reflector or fill flash, your subjects are either squinting or wearing sunglasses. Get them in the shade. The brides maid shot doesn't have any squinting because they're sitting with their backs to the camera. I guess some people like these kinds of shots, but I like to see faces. Pretty bride.

First of all mos def thanks for the feedback i def. agree with you as well. If you were there picture hundreds and hundreds of people at the beach.. These shots needed to be timed @ the moment type of shoot because of all the people.. These angles were definitely thought of because of people laying/playing/swimming/walking around the beach. So hopefully you understand why the beach pictures were that way.

Oh and there wedding was more of a laid back type of style (i guess thats what they chose) but sunglasses/khakis/aloha tshirt type of wedding lol.

I have more of these type post-ceremony.. ONE THING though.. For some reason the picture feels like a "prom" type picture.. I don't know I'm 50/50 on what to think about this shot its great but it feels/looks generic..
