5 line skink

My new best friend. I didn't think he was big enough to tackle a water bug (roach) that large but he got it.

They're fun to watch aren't they Dan.
Neat captures of a guy that's been around as the base of the tail and the ticks show, but mine don't have nearly as much red on the head as yours. And if they like roaches I now understand why I have several generations around my patio -

Is it me or is the focus slightly off on the first?

Thanks for comments. It's been a good year for lizards here. We have green anoles, broad head and 5 line skinks and pine lizards everywhere.

Lei514 - the focus is off slightly. I pretty much have to use a tripod when taking pictures and this was one of those 'take the picture now or never' situations.
