I spent a few days in the Washington's Palouse area, and was fortunate enough that the weather cooperated nicely as far as photography. There were a lot of clouds, and few thunderstorms, almost perfect for capturing some dramatic conditions. This, by the way, is a very beautiful area of the Pacific NW, and should be on every photographer's trip list... Hope you like the images...

Colorful hills:

Lone tree doesn't hit like the drama of the first and second but on second look its a subtle wow.

Very skillful use of shapes and contrasting colors to produce beautiful photos where many would just drive through 'looking for something spectacular' to shoot.

Wow, these are really nice shots. What an interesting landscape, I've never heard of this place before and I don't think I've ever seen photos of it either. I love the rolling green hills and blue skys in the photos.
