First "REAL" try at automotive photography

Very nice, you might want to tone down the city lights in background a bit. For me they detracted from the excellent shot of the car.

To me it looks good for a first try at automotive. Like rick_reno said tone down the city lights. But also now try think of composition and car angles. Show abit more of the side of the car so theres more things to look at.

Rick and thirdkid, thanks for the tip.

It's a light painting. I believe about 5 minute exposure, using only flashlight to accent the car. that's why the city lights r a little bit intense. As for angles, I didn't want to shoot the side coz the neon lights are showing. The neon aren't a permanent fixture, only duck taped! Haha!

It's an interesting shot to start out here.

5 minute exposure,... that's why the city lights r a little bit intense.

Try two different exposures, one for the car & one for the background, & then you can assemble them in photoshop.
