I'm determined not to have an accidental push of the on/off button when the camera is in a soft belt pack, triggering a "lens error"..
What's the smallest Hardshell case for the S95 and an extra battery?

It's almost as small as you can go in width and length, just significantly thicker than needed for the s95. I only really use it for storage though, if it was a main carry case I'd probably search for something smaller and sacrifice a little bit of protection.

Jun 06, 2011 17:46 | #6 I particularly like it because, if you don't have the Franiac grip, you can put a battery in the pouch opposite the flat surface of the camera to the side of the lens assembly, and still are able to close the case normally. It's as if this case was made for the S95. Jay

From the description provided in this thread, it sounds like the Santiago 20 contains extra room for memory cards/extra battery.

I prefer the snuggest fitting case as I do not intend to carry add'l memory cards or batteries. Thoughts on the Santiago 10? Thanks. I looked at that one...it's too small even for the S95 alone. Jay
