Good idea, however, the image is underexposed and slightly out of focus.

You know this was shot at hyperfocal distance right? You also know this was shot in pitch black with no moon and no stars? The only light, coming from reflected light pollution off of the clouds, from nearby Moab

That doesn't excuse either underexposure or out of focus problem. I have taken and seen a lot of shots taken after midnight with a proper exposure and as sharp as they come. There are problems in this image, and I just wanted to point them out to you. No reason to be defensive... :)

I absolutely loved it! I wish I could just stay there. For a bit, I actually pondered quitting my job, leaving my wife and just becoming a homeless guy wandering the hills... (of course with a really nice camera!) LOL

LOL! I just returned from a trip to Oklahoma City to visit family; I grew up there. It was nice to see some green for a change---for about 15 minutes, then it became mind-numbingly boring. I've lived in Arizona for 13 years now and never tire of the landscape. From the time I hit the end of my driveway I feel like I'm in an exotic and strange land. Page, AZ, would be the ideal place to live. Close to the parks in S. Utah, N. AZ, Colorado, NM. Maybe someday . . .
