It is perhaps the ship, but the only thing grabbing attention is a LOT of mast/rigging. For shot that have a lot going on like this you want to see the "bigger picture", so grabbing the whole boat would be the way to go instead of focusing on any one thing in particular. Terence

If you'd set it to 5 seconds you may not have seen the boat. All I can suggest at this point is try another position and make the boat & the masts your main subject. Photographer
