Pretty much bottom of the barrel as far as Canon cameras go, but I bought one for my kids. Supposed to have nice image quality, but low on features.

Wow, that is a good deal. The little thing actually takes really nice pictures, but I couldn't stand using AAs. Even rechargables just seemed annoying, or they'd keep getting lifted for other things, like remotes or the xbox controller.

Can't go wrong at this price though. Buy up a few and give them away at Christmas.

I got mine today, and I have to say this is a great camera for even double what I paid. My 5 and 8 year old were off and running with it making funny videos and planning portrait shoots of their toys withing 2 minutes. and the pictures look really very good. It's just once of Canon's 10MP sensors from a couple years ago.

The price only went up $10 after the sale, so if anyone is looking for a good near-disposable or kids camera, check it out.
