take the picture from the top view. the bottom picture is better from those 2 but still isn't that great.

Ah well, this picture is actually a picture I found from one of my old albums. Thought I'd edit it to make it look well but looks like the composition doesn't work.

It's interesting. I think it was a great moment, but you could've captured it in a different perspective. May be a ground level shot, as a previous poster stated 'faces', or an above shot might've been better. The photo doesn't really provide any aesthetic value. Keep working hard.
