Pretty rare to see both birds in same location, much less get a photo!

Nice shots

I was there in winter 2010; I was on assignment in Marfa Tx. That is one nice place. Did you stay there or just visit? I want to go back for a long weekend. While there a gentleman had gotten a shot of a mountain lion that was on one of the path not to far from the restaurant.

Very nice shots....the colors on the varied bunting are really beautiful. I don't think I've ever seen one posted on here before.

Jamberlyn - Thank you very much!
Methodical - I have been there 26 times since August 1989. I too have a photo of a Mountain Lion taken in Big Bend on Window Pour-Off Trail. I posted in Wildlife section on this forum. Search my user name and/or Mountain Lion. I stayed in Alpine, Sanderson, and the Basin. I have stayed in every town out there except Presidio. Marfa is one of my favorites.
Shar824 - I have some even better ones of the Varied Bunting I will be posting.

I found the Mountain Lion post but the photo is not showing up. It's blocked or something
