ya i would always have that thought in the back of my mind that i dint get the best one:rolleyes: thats why i have the 70-200 II not the 70-200 f/4 non is i was originally looking at 3 days before i bought the 70-200 II:rolleyes::rolleyes:

My only advice would be to wait until you have FF. The lens will be long on crop and you won't see it's full potential until FF. That's why on crop I live the 50L :D

The 85 L is something special but, there are a few that don't like it. If you have patience with the 85 L, it can make some nice images. :)

ya ive seen them go for around 1700-1800 humm what can i sell.

i got the perfect plan. Christmas is in 196 Days 1 Hours 35 Minutes i will ask for a 5d II (or III) birthday is in 256 days 16 hours 33 minutes i will ask for a 14L. Then will self my 7d and sigma 10-20 andget a underwater housing so i can be in the water with the surfers instead of on land.
Hope my mom and dad dont mind about the cost:rolleyes::rolleyes::lol::lol:

The 85 L is very tricky to learn at first in nailing f1.2-1.6. One slight movement and your focus will be off.

Do you really need the 14 L? Why not get a UWA zoom? 14mm might be too wide for most things.

I didn't get that many shots. Most of it was with a video cam and just a few with the p&s. No one in my family knows how to use my 1Ds III.
