i didn't like shooting the 300 for hockey as much as the 70-200, shooting a prime for action is harder to frame cause you can't back up ;)

another excuse

damn you guys that are using NR, you better save your metadatas after your edits.. my LR3 catalogue seems to have been corrupted.. I mean look

I opened up LR to convert the bag photo and its all alone in there  I looked for the catalogue file and it won't load  - I feel like a noob with an empty catalogue hahaha

that's mostly the reason i can't find my files, ever since i started using lightroom i forgot to title the folders, if i rename it later i lose the metadata

what the heck...why would you lose your metadata if you rename it?

I always rename them at the export window Martin... I always select "Custom name - original file number"

btw, my catalogue is back up, I just restarted the PC :D but still we should save the metadata as a side cart and not rely on the Catalogue if we want to save our edits :D

I have a hard time using my 24-105 on my 7d just becuase I find the sharpness of the image is no where near the 70-200II. Mabey I will get a 35L and 50L instead of keeping my 24-105. I will also go full frame when the 5DIII comes out most likley.

I find the multiple points focus on the 7D produces soft focus, now I only use aingle point focus.

yeah I can't quite grasp the multiple point focus of the D700 as well so I use just single point all across the frame  just manually choose it

the 24-105 and 24-70 are good zooms , the 70-200 mk2 is a stack of primes, i see why your spoiled, try the 24-105 with strobe you should notice a difference ;)

yeah I noticed it was shot at 24mm... the photos looks very good but the subject looks kinda short  that's why I was asking if these were wide angle shots... :D

When you have a basketball player very near you, then add a football pro, you have to go wide, plus the two Kardashians, should buy the 16-35 mm.
