Why shoot jpeg?

When I take multi-shot HDR shots with my NEX-3, it disables RAW. That doesn't keep me from shooting in that mode. It actually does a fine job with the proper settings.

Gitzo. Two inches isn't going to make a difference. Besides, most landscape shooters never shoot their tripods at full height.

what do you mean? Gitzo is cheaper and taller so yeah its more money for the price and yes almost all the time I am shooting it down low hehe I love to get down

When i spoke to Julian months ago about filters and the such i made a massive search on tripods. Back then i was being modest on my expense and needs. It might have changed now but this is what im getting. Until i start looking higher up

I couldn't get it to go through on my phone so he sent me a link with it in the cart. After that it was smooth sailing. Im sending in the rebate today. For $50 bucks it cant be beat.

yes get the same model as I am looking... GT-3541LS, unless you only want 3 folds. folded length is 4" difference for the 3 series

hehe if you are going for around $500, I think even Feisol + Markins Q10 is already out of your range..

the Q10 alone is $370 and the Feisol is about $300 if no Rapid system, and $400 with the rapid system = $770.
GItzo is just $300 more..for a one time purchase its a no brainer for me to just get Gitzo

if you want a small gitzo, then yes there's the traveller series 1541/1531/1542 series but they are still at the $600 range compact though

come to think of it, the 190cxpro like the one Harm or have Feisol 3442 probably fits in your budget... but with the Markins Q3T its going to be around $600
