Alex you would need another 70-200 that you wouldn't use, that would drive Steven nuts, hey where is Steven tonight ?

how much is the rumoured d800 ?

Probably $3000 hehe

jdizzle wrote in post #12549408 (external link)
Since I have a Nikon 14-24, I would build a lens line up of primes and end it with the 70-200 VR II. ;)

So, it would be the 24 1.4 G, 35 1.4 G, 85 1.4 G, and 70-200 VR II.

Why do you want Nikon again? I thought you hate the color rendition hehe

I took my daughter for her two month visit and she weighs in at a 15 lbs.! :D She also had to get three shots and she cried like no tomorrow.:( I felt bad but, it is a necessary evil to build her immune system.

Just thinking out loud. The specs of the D800 would have to be impressive for me to go back. ;)

If the D800 was a D7000 in a pro body (read: weather sealed) with an FX sensor and CF cards, I'd be game, and Noink would win in my book.

JD a little trick i learned after the first shots, if you need two needles get them simultaneously it's much easier than doing one at a time ;)

I'm talking atleast 6fps, 2 CF slots, or atleast a CF and SD slot, and the focusing system of the D7000

2 CF slots (not double SD)
14-stop DR or more ;)
ISO 25,600 equivalent to current ISO 6400 hehe
