Hey guys, I am venturing into the world of off-camera flashes and not know a whole lot.

I want to run 3x older 540ez flashes and I am planning to order 2x sets of the new Cactus V5 triggers.

For the V5 triggers, is it plug and play or do I have to modify my flashes and add a sync port like with the older/cheaper triggers? Thanks guys

Plug and Play. I've used the V5 to trigger my Canon 420EZ without problem. There should be no reason for it not to work with the 540EZ.
