Steam Town - Scranton,Pa

I took a trip to Scranton, Pa to visit Steam Town National Historical Site. They had several nice examples there.

Yeah I think they are limited to only a couple directions. The yard is completely open and you can wander where ever you wish. You know people won't keep an eye out for train traffic.

I had a great time. I wish there had been a few more clouds around, a lot of empty sky.

It's a three hour drive from my place so I may go back this summer.

Steamtown has some great photo ops. Their operating hours make for some tough shooting conditions though! The 664 looks great....haven't seen it since the restoration.
